In addition to a range of nutrition services, I am thrilled to bring over a decade of track and field coaching experience to help athletes of all goals and ages reach their potential. Track and field training can cover the following events: sprints, hurdles, middle distance, long distance, cross country, road running, jumps (high jump, long jump, and triple jump), and throws (shot put, discus throw, hammer throw, weight throw, and javelin throw).
Running speed also is the foundation of the vast majority of sports and often a major component of tryouts and standing out on a playing field. While many athletes have not had formal speed training, running speed is a very malleable skill.
The most effective way to progress to the next level is consistent, individualized training. Sessions involve:
Event-specific warm-up
Technique drills
Event rehearsal
Strength modalities matching the theme of the workout
Event-specific cool-down
Individualized plan for between sessions
Monthly training packages involve:
4 weekly sessions (60-90')
Training plan as needed between sessions
Session summaries & focus points for the next week
Notes on race strategy & logistics for upcoming meets
Discuss nutrition strategies to support health & performance
Messaging at any point in the month
